What are Virtual Tours?
Virtual Tours in Teleport let you create guided walkthroughs inside your captures, leading viewers through key points of interest with structured waypoints, titles, and descriptions. Whether you’re telling a story, showcasing a space, or guiding a training session, Virtual Tours help you control the narrative and make exploration effortless.
How to Set Up a Virtual Tour
Setting up a Virtual Tour is fast and intuitive:
- Open your capture → Open the Teleport capture you want to build a tour in.
- Start editing → Click the Edit Capture button (pencil icon, bottom-right) to launch the Toolbar.

Add your first Waypoint →Fly to your first point of interest and align your view.
- Hover near the bottom of the screen to reveal the Toolbar, then select 'Tour'.
- Click ‘Add Waypoint’.
- Customize your Waypoints →Click on each waypoint to add a title and description.
- Sequence your waypoints as desired using the arrow keys to guide viewers through the highlights of your scene.
- Save and view your Tour:
- Click ‘Save’ when finished. (recommended after each waypoint)
- Refresh the page to see the Tour interface live, or click on waypoints to manually navigate between them.
Your viewers will now experience your capture in a curated, narrative-driven flow.
