Reorient capture

Fix alignment issues in your 3D capture by adjusting its orientation.

Use this tool when:

• Floors appear tilted
• The capture feels off in VR or on desktop

How to reorient your capture:

1. Click Place Gizmo to drop the 3D rotation tool in your scene.
2. Use the curved lines on the Gizmo to rotate the capture.
3. When you’re happy with the alignment, click Save to apply the changes.

Changes are saved for all viewers and devices.

Link captures with portals

Portals let you connect multiple captures into one seamless experience.

Viewers can move through portals to explore different rooms or environments without switching links. This is ideal for joining spaces into a single immersive flow.

How to create a portal:

1. Open the destination capture you want to link in a separate browser tab.
2. In this capture, fly close to where you want to place the portal
3. Click Add to place the portal and give it a name
4. In the second tab, refresh the page, open the Portals tool, go to List, and click the Map pin icon to set the destination
5. Refresh this capture and click the portal to test it

You can add as many portals as you need to build connected spaces

Guide viewers with a virtual tour

Virtual tours let you lead viewers through your capture with structured waypoints, titles, and descriptions.

Use this when you want to:

• Tell a story with your capture
• Highlight key areas
• Create a walkthrough or training experience

How to create a tour:

1. Fly to your first point of interest and frame your view
2. Click Add Waypoint to drop your starting point
3. Click on the waypoint thumbnail to add a title and description
4. Repeat to build your tour path
5. Use the arrow keys on the waypoint thumbnail to adjust the sequence
6. Click Save after each step to keep your progress

Once saved, viewers will see a guided interface to explore your capture in the order you defined.

Create custom videos from your capture

The video tool lets you turn your 3D capture into a high-quality, animated video.

How to create a custom video:

1. Move the camera to your desired view
2. Use the timeline to select a frame and click Add Keyframe
3. Adjust camera properties like field of view, exposure, contrast, and saturation
4. Use Evenly space keyframes to spread the keyframes smoothly across the timeline
5. Click the Play icon to preview your video
6. When ready, click Export Video to choose your resolution and render the final output

Inspect source images

The Inspect tool lets you click on a point in your 3D capture to see the original source images that contributed to that area.

How to use Inspect::

1. Select the Inspect tool from the toolbar
2. Click anywhere in the capture to select a point
3. A panel on the left will show the closest source images for that region
4. Click an image to enlarge or download it

Inspect capture with debug tools

The Debug tool gives you access to technical views of your capture.

Use it to:

• View camera paths from the original recording
• Check performance or rendering details
• Troubleshoot

This tool is mainly for advanced users or developers.
